This splicing workshop will focus on modern high modulus fibers such as Dyneema and Technora, and participants will leave with several useful strops, loops, and soft-shackles they make. Tools and rope for the class will be provided, and a selection of splicing tools, materials, and a handbook will be available for sale as well. Workshop will focus on the safe and effective use of spliced materials for climbing, mountaineering, and slackline rigging.
